Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum
The Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum, jointly hosted by the Office of The Food Safety Commission of the State Council, the International Department of the Central Committee of CPC, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China International Import Expo, and the Boao Forum for Asia, has been successfully held for 16 sessions. The themes of the last three forums were ‘Food Safety Strengthen the High-Quality Development and Rural Vitalization,’ ‘Deepen practical cooperation between agriculture industry and food products to promote people-to-people exchanges along Belt and Road countries,’ and ‘Deepening Belt and Road Agricultural and Food Cooperation for a Better Life for Humanity’ The forum has established a high-level platform for exchange and cooperation mainly involving politics, business, and academia, and has received widespread support and high acclaim from domestic and international sectors.
