On November 6th, the 16th Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum was successfully held in Shanghai as a concurrent event of the 6th China International Import Expo. Good morning! Today marks the auspicious commencement of the 6th China International Import Expo and the 16th Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum, which resumes offline. I am immensely honored to represent Bright Dairy & Food Co., Ltd. and meet with you here at the Expo in Shanghai. It is a privilege to listen to the insightful shares from leaders, experts, and peers, and collectively explore the new future of dairy development.
 
As the host city of the Expo, Shanghai, and as the city’s marquee brand, Bright Dairy has participated in the Expo for six consecutive years in a triple capacity as an exhibitor, supplier, and service provider, showcasing the bright image of China’s dairy industry to the world. Openness is ingrained in the DNA of Shanghai, and as a century-old dairy enterprise resonating with this city, Bright Dairy, under the dual empowerment of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Expo, has joined hands with global dairy enterprises to embrace the open winds of the Expo and demonstrate China’s determination for openness and global connectivity.
 
Food safety is a universal expectation of people worldwide. High-quality living demands high-quality nutrition and healthy food, which is also Bright Dairy’s unwavering pursuit of quality. From pasture to end-consumer, we ensure the nutrition and freshness of milk through technological research and development, A-grade milk sources, world-class manufacturing, five-star level cold chain management, and an outstanding quality management system that allows for complete traceability of the entire process.
 
In September this year, we appeared at the nation’s highest-level quality conference, the 5th China Quality Conference, shining on the world stage with high-quality standards and management systems. At this year’s Expo, we provided high-quality dairy and bakery products at the news center, sharing the taste of Bright with Chinese and foreign media, and spreading the quality and confidence of Chinese dairy products worldwide. Bright Dairy’s leading logistics is the only company that has served as the core bottom-line enterprise for catering food security at the Expo for six consecutive years, safeguarding food safety at the Expo.
 
This year, we are showcasing Synlait Milk products at our booth, presenting a panoramic display of Synlait Milk’s qualitative first production, digitalized secondary production, and diversified tertiary production, allowing visitors a one-stop experience from farmland to the dining table. Tomorrow afternoon, Bright Dairy will also host a Dairy-themed Day event, inviting top chefs to use pure ingredients and creative culinary skills to showcase and interpret global cuisine.
 
While embracing the world, we also actively explore opportunities provided by the Expo to enhance our global presence, integrating cultural confidence into the construction of the Belt and Road. Momchilovtsi, a small village in southern Bulgaria, became known to the Chinese people 15 years ago thanks to Bright Dairy’s creation of Momchilovtsi, the first domestic room-temperature yogurt brand. This year, the long-awaited Momchilovtsi Yogurt Culture Festival returned to the village, showcasing the unique charm of Chinese culture. Through Momchilovtsi yogurt, Bright Dairy has composed a beautiful chapter of the China-Bulgaria friendship, exemplifying the excellent practice of the Belt and Road.
 
With our sixth attendance at the Expo, Bright Dairy continues to lead high-quality development driven by innovation, showcasing unique national and brand identity to the world with high-quality exhibits and excellence. This year, we have empowered our brand with the spirit of rhythm and movement, shaping our brand into a core corporate asset, and constantly showcasing brand strength. We have harnessed the power of the Chinese women’s volleyball team IP to support various events, partnered as founding collaborators for online virtual sports competitions, and as an official strategic partner of the League of Legends event, we exclusively created the LPL communication wall, a popular check-in destination. This year, Zhang Zhizhen, the ambassador of the 2023 Shanghai Rolex Masters sponsored by us, harnessed the power of Bright to conquer the world stage for the first time in his hometown Shanghai. In terms of cultural heritage, we organized the Moon Full Bright Sports Festival and are currently collaborating deeply with the ongoing 22nd China Shanghai International Arts Festival as a comprehensive strategic partner. Drawing from the profound Eastern culture, Bright Dairy actively explores the fusion of brand with sports and culture, bringing diverse and enriched brand renewal experiences to consumers, displaying the spirit of innovation within tradition.
 
Furthermore, this year, we have collaborated with Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Film Group, and other influential IPs to launch co-branded packaging, using new designs, packaging, and products to empower Bright products, leading the world's fashion trend with a national style. These crossover products are currently on display at the Shanghai Pavilion at the Expo, and I invite all leaders and colleagues present to visit and provide guidance.
 
In addition to building a shared and open Chinese market and a green and warm future, the Expo constantly looks forward to a digital tomorrow. Utilizing digital technology, we have integrated intelligence across the entire industry chain, driving high-quality development. Bright Dairy has built natural oxygen-rich pastures, intelligently manufactured factories, timely logistics, and the Bright Dairy shopping platform, achieving equipment interconnection, data communication, and intelligent collaboration across the entire industry chain. With our leading digital supply chain, we were honored as the ‘2022 National Supply Chain Innovation and Demonstration Enterprise.’
 
As the first dairy enterprise in China to build its digital asset issuance platform and the first enterprise to open digital asset circulation and donation on the Shanghai Data Exchange, Bright Dairy has issued several digital assets over the past two years, innovating marketing methods, and embracing the metaverse.
 
In the context of global corporate focus on green and sustainable development, as the industry leader in launching the milk carton recycling action, Bright Dairy upgraded the milk box recycling action to milk packaging recycling action on the first national ecological day this year. Our milk packaging recycling plan and actions have covered 60 cities nationwide, recycling nearly 10 million milk cartons, helping to make low-carbon environmental protection the new trend.
 
Openness bears fruit, and joint efforts forge new paths. Seizing the opportunity of the 6th Expo, Bright Dairy acts responsibly as the host, aiming to enlarge the global dairy market, solidify the mechanism of shared cooperation among global dairy enterprises, and invigorate the innovative approaches of the global dairy industry. By benchmarking against more outstanding enterprises both domestically and globally, we represent the excellent quality of Chinese dairy products and contribute more to the bright future of Chinese brands.

The theme of the forum is, ‘Deepening the Belt and Road Cooperation in Agriculture and Food: Jointly Creating a Better Life for Humanity.’ Leaders from the State Administration for Market Regulation, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Health Commission, General Administration of Customs, as well as leaders from Shanghai, Henan, Hainan, and other provincial governments, representatives of provincial market supervision departments, representatives of relevant United Nations organizations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and embassies of South Africa, the Netherlands, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, Tanzania, Senegal, among others, along with over 400 delegates from domestic and international enterprises, participated in the forum. Guests collectively deliberated on agricultural cooperation and food industry development, contributing insights and strategies for the high-quality development of agriculture and food industries in the Belt and Road Initiative, highlighting the role of the forum as a platform for policy interpretation.
 
2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum. Over the past decade, the forum has been successfully held for 15 sessions within the framework of the National Food Safety Publicity Week and the China International Import Expo. The forum has solidly promoted high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road, extensively conducted exchanges and cooperation in the agricultural and food industries, played a significant role in the development and safety of agricultural food industries in the countries along the route, and facilitated smooth international trade among the Belt and Road countries.
