On September 26^th 2013, the inaugural Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum (BREAFF) was successfully held during Euro-Asia Economic Forum. Li Zhaoxing, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jia Zhibang, Director of Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of the CPPCC, SURAKIART Sathirathai, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Sergey Terechshenko, Former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Shaukat Aziz, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan attended. Wang Yang, Vice Premier of the People' s Republic of China, delivered a keynote speech at the Euro-Asia Economic Forum and highly appraised the first Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum (BREAFF) which was initiated by former Minister Li Zhaoxing.
